Teapots
and Tea Cup Collection
by Mary Lou Kiel
May - June, 2008
Mary
Lou Kiel’s love of tea, and a collection of cups inherited
from her mother, planted an interest in the ritual of afternoon
tea. After her husband and son threw a surprise birthday tea
party for her, Mary Lou decided she could do it for others.
Since 2003, under the guise of "Tea for Two by Mary Lou”,
she has offered lovely teas in such settings as birthday parties,
women’s groups, Girl Scouts, schools, nursing homes,
and charitable fundraisers, all beautifully served on assorted
china she has gathered from shops and sales.
